Default Hall of Monuments: What to work on first?

Hi all, so I've been an owner of the GW games (i have them all) for a long time, but never really got into them enough to go very far.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, i am very interested in GW2 and thought i would get back on the wagon and get some stuff done for the Hall of Monuments to transfer/link/dedicate some things for GW2.

I am currently just trying to get through the Prophecies campaign completing missions with the bonus, i know I'm quite far behind?!

So my question is, what would be the easiest order to do things for dedicating them to the HoM? I know that 'easiest' isn't really the best word for it as there is a lot of work to be done, but surely there is a way to go about it that would avoid going back over things.

I have a load of Mini-pets, but once I've gone through the Tyrian Protector title should i go straight to EotN and earn my tapestries? Should i just go to EotN when i reach the level cap and go from there? Would it be easier to aim for Hero armour?

Any advice or tips much appreciated, thanks!

You'll probably collect some of the stuff you need while you complete the campaigns. I'd advise completing them first and moving on to EotN. You'll be able to get most of the minipets (if not all of them), hero armor and titles are pretty easy, and the elite armor one may or may not be easy depending on how many sets of armor you felt the need for. The weapon one costs a bit of cash because you probably won't craft many for your own use. If you choose to put tormented weapons in it'll easily be the most expensive one to fill.

Cheers for the tips.

My main thought to get as many things done as i can before moving on to the more involved or expensive stuff.

Will concentrate on sorting Prophacies first then, 25/25 and then move to EotN. Any other tips would be great.

Edit: Oops just re-read what you said and i see that you recommended doing Factions and Nightfall as well before moving on to EotN.

Ok so i have another question, as the link to GW2 is account wide, does that mean i might as well use the same character to complete Factions and Nightfall, rather than creating a new one character in each?

I would recommend completing all the content one one character. This way you have a 'main' character that has access to all areas, has a crapload of skills, has a broad array of equipment, and is well on the way to 30 max titles (don't know if this will affect GW2 or not). Making a new character for each campaign works too, but most people find that they prefer one profession over the others so they keep going with that. Nothing is stopping you from making a bunch of characters and playing them whenever you like anyway.

I favor doing Prophesis as much as you can dont worry about 25/25, but you dont even need to completely finish it, I stopped once i got to Protition Rock got a few elites i wanted and then on to Eotn, i think getting all the free skills you can for all char in prophesis 1 then going to Eotn with your best char an doing it to the end building up rank for Delver Vangard Asura and Norn to get all those great skills doing skill quests they can be taken to other campains and it makes all campains much much easyier, youll be getting heros that way too.
Then do factions and NF to get those special skills, that dont require attribute points and then the game becomes easy. Once you do that 25/25 and NF and Factions with bonus is 10times easyier. Factions is great for lvling up and NF has heros you can add on to the others you got in Eotn. Dont waste gold on armor you have plenty of time for that later sell your white and black for gold your nick traveler items and even birthday presents any festival item that has sweets or alkie that way you amass GOLD. Once you got plenty of gold you can get some Green weapons cheap for you heros and a nice gold ones for your main char. Join a good guild active and does things together that way you get the bonus you missed or missions you skipped over.

Keep in mind that to get some of the legendary titles (Legendary Vanquisher, Cartographer, Guardian) you have to do all three continents on one character. Getting, say, Tyrian, Canthan, and Elonan Cartographer on three separate characters will not get you Legendary Cartographer.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys, lots of different opinions here.

Think for now I'm going to go through Prophecies with my main character, then see from there.

More opinions and tips are welcome.
